Homemade Chunky Soup: Donovan McNabb got sick during the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl, according to several players. "He didn't get a play call in one time," said center Hank Fraley. "He mumbled and Freddie Mitchell yelled out the play we were trying to bring in. He was puking at the same time trying to hold it in."

He's puked while under center before. Perhaps there's something else there? I don't know what, I'm just saying this isn't the first time.

someone had called in to one of the espnradio shows this afternoon (michael kay maybe?) saying that he used to puke at syracuse as well, even after scoring a touchdown. i've heard of people puking regularly before games, but not during.

NC State's TA McClendon is a regular puker during games.

Maybe it was an Any Given Sunday scenario. Was he eating a bag of chips before the play?

Maybe he had a concuscion. It's that obviously what they're trying to insinuate? Maybe I'm paranoid.

this might explain the poor clock management - can't do much while the QB is preoccupied with parking the tiger....

I saw video once of Marshal Faulk "selling a Buick" while in the three point stance, just before he got the handoff. I wondered why he didnt get flagged for "back field in motion!"

He's denying the dry heaves, but I'm waiting for someone to bring up the fact he threw up during a playoff or end of season loss against Seattle years ago. Saw it right on teevee. Plenty of great athletes have been pukers: HoF goalie with no mask, Ted Somebody (played for the Red Wings back in the '50s), Bill Russell, someone else. Auerbach wouldn't let the team out of the locker room until Russell threw up.

Fatty, I think the goalie you mean is Glen Hall, who supposedly was so nervous that he barfed before most of his games.
