Wow. He looks like Schwartzenegger in 1985. I thought for sure that he'd retire.

Cherry should just give up his argument against visors now. He's watched one of his absolute favourite players blow his arguments out of the water with one single interview:

I don't think Cherry is necessarily against visors, he's just against: 1) visors on players that get in the thick of things, which is understandable. Guy starting a fight while wearing a visor is cheap and gives him an advantage. 2) he's against forcing players to wear them, leaving the decision to the players themselves -- though he still concedes that the mandatory rule will likely come into effect.

For the record, Don Cherry can kiss my pucker. His opinions may have been relevant 30 years ago. But probably not even. I wish he would just retire or die.

Cherry is an ass. Hockey is a joke these days. See that Russian guy suspended for a season for that brutual hit in I think I was the AHL? People whining "His career could be over because he's missing a year." Should have considered that before he acted like a wanker than shouldn't he. I can't think of any other sport where someone would get away with that. As for Steve... Good for him.
