Rocket Mortgage Wins Super Bowl USA Today Ad Meter: The Rocket Mortgage commercial where Anna Kendrick helps Barbie beat out other doll buyers to land her Dream House won the USA Today Ad Meter for Super Bowl 0x38, edging out the Amazon ad where the Echo not only spies on Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson but can read their minds.
Seeing so many ads about crypto really harshed my mellow.

Commercials? Football game? I guess that's what my wife was watching. I was busy cleaning up after dinner and getting started on a new Spinach and Artichoke Dip recipe for the 2nd half snack. In the meantime, Tuesday night is our monthly Vestry meeting, and I had to write my report. My wife and I watched most of the 2nd half together, but I really wasn't paying a lot of attention to the commercials.

Coinbase commercial seemed incredibly dumb to me. Yeah, show a bouncing QR code with no explanation and expect me to load it up. Though tbh I wouldn't expect better from these people.

After seeing what happened to Odell when he took his 2021 salary in bitcoin, I want to see if he's going to take his Super Bowl winner's share in stable currency.

I thought the lo-res floating QR code was a great idea. It went on long enough that my curiosity was piqued so I grabbed the phone and scanned it.
