Why wait till after the election? The court packing has already begun.

Taiwanese baseball highlight:

Outfielder robs a home run, but only reveals he's caught the ball after batter is deep into his home run trot. Stunned looks from everyone!

That's the most cold-blooded thing I've ever seen on a baseball field. I love it.

I had something similar happen in a middle school game a few years ago. The batter crushed one over the fence in right field. The problem was that when he made contact with the ball, his foot was on the ground completely outside the batter's box. I am screaming at the top of my lungs, "the batter is out", meanwhile the home run trot continues. The kid touches the plate, I inform him of his sin, and he stands there with a shocked impression on his face. By this time I'm showing his coach the footprint, there's no argument, and the game goes on. Next time this kid comes to bat he is extra careful with his feet. Sure enough, he gets a cookie in the middle of his strike zone and drives it to the same place. He crosses the plate and gives me this look that says, "There! Take that one away".

Just came back to post that link and found grum had beat me to it. Nice to see an ex-Red Sox player do well.
