SportsFilter: The Tuesday Huddle:
A place to discuss the sports stories that aren't making news, share links that aren't quite front-page material, and diagram plays on your hand. Remember to count to five Mississippi before commenting in anger.
The Sharks have announced that they will not seek a waiver for the ban

We're up to five known cases here in Wake County, but I'm sure that will rise

Let me know if logins and auto-login are starting to behave. I found a bug in the hostname setting for this server.

When I visit the site, it says that I'm logged in on the home page.
If I go to a topic, when the topic page opens, it says I'm not logged in.
If I return to the home page and then go back to the topic page, I revert to logged in status.

I'm pretty much the same as beaverboard. I think the home page says I'm logged in at first, but I'm not entirely sure of that. If I go into a huddle post or something, I won't be logged in, but if I refresh the window, I will be.

What's strange is that I leave the site open in a tab so I reload the page each morning. Logged in when I come to the tab, logged out when I refresh and click into the first thread/page, then logged in when I return to the main page.

I visit from my work computer, which goes through a proxy server/firewall that may complicate things. I visit the site,http://www.sportsfilter.com/, in the morning and am not logged in. I click on the header and it refreshes the page and I am logged in. I click on a link and it shows the content (huddle or comments) but not logged in. I click on the header and it takes me back to home page, logged in. I click on the link again and I am shown the content logged in.

First look at an article gives me a "You are not logged in." warning. I tap the log in link, and the message tells me that I am logged in. I go back to the article and all is well, I am free to rant once again.
