Watched the Chiefs - Titans game summary last night.
Not only has Vrabel's staff unlocked Derrick Henry's potential and turned him into a force of nature, they're also busy making a hoss out of Tannehill. He gained critical yards after contact on QB runs and the whole unit plays more physically with him in there. There is no going back to Mariota now.
Andy Reid is also the coach of the team that dialed up one of the worst fake field goal attempts in recent memory yesterday. That call qualifies him to enter the Federal Witness Protection Program.

When EVERYONE else apologizes for your stupid outburst, but you remain vigilant in NOT apologizing, the writing is on the wall.
His time had come, and Don Cherry can go ahead and rant and rave in a much less public forum.
I will be curious how they fill their first intermission time slot now.
I don't think anyone would want to jump into the seat that Don has been kicked from, because that's just focusing the ire of the angry white male on a new (and unrelated) target.
Ron Maclean still has the "Hometown Hockey" weekly gig, so he's not really hurting if they go with some other ideas for that slot.

Lots of jobs in the current US Executive Branch still waiting to be filled. Don would have to tone down the sartorial splendor a bit, but otherwise he'd be a tidy fit.

Where is Howie Meeker when we need him?

Brian Burke would be good.

Brian Burke would be good
Possibly, but he doesn't bleed Leafs enough to fill the void created by Cherry's departure.

Does anyone find it weird that Andy Reid gets so little national media attention as the coach of one of the NFL's best and most exciting teams? When Reid was in Philly the media couldn't shut up about him. Now he's practically invisible, which is hard to be in an enormous reflective red windbreaker.
It seemed like every time a Chiefs coach was shown yesterday on RedZone it was defensive coordinator Stephen Spagnuolo.
