Elias Pettersson leaves Canucks game
Plays like that piss me off. The initial hit looked innocuous enough; if it was high, it was close and could have been unintentional and due to the speed of play. But the follow-up of throwing Pettersson to the ice like that shows zero respect for a competitor, and can't really be seen as anything but an intent to injure. Hope the kid's ok.

You and me both. I like physicality in the game, but that is absolute horseshit. The initial check, fine and dandy. The throw-down is something out of WWE. Thuggish at best. Initial reports say Pettersson is feeling a little better, but not game ready yet.
