CFL Pick 'Em, Week Twelve: What a week! Some teams won, other teams lost. The Argos enjoyed losing so much they did it twice. Ouch. Lick your wounds and make your picks inside.

The 4-down version of the football pick 'em started this week, but the 3-down version continues. If I somehow get confused and pick Cleveland over Montreal, will I get extra points if Cleveland wins and Montreal loses? I thought not. Here goes another week.
Montreal at BC: Two teams that are about as far apart, and still be in Canada, will play. They are pretty far apart in results this season as well. The gap will widen (no, Vancouver is not drifting out to sea, I mean in the standings). BC by 12
Saskatchewan at Winnipeg: Blue Bombers let the Roughriders use the air strip. The landing fees here are steep. Roughriders might wind up stuck on the taxiway. Winnipeg by 7
Calgary at Edmonton: The second half of the battle for Alberta moves to Edmonton. Will that help the Eskimos avenge the Labor Day weekend defeat? It might make the result a bit more respectable, but the outcome will be the same. Calgary by 10
Hamilton at Toronto: Another second half of a home-and-home, this one is for the championship of Lake Ontario. There was a championship of Lake Erie once, and some guy named Perry quarterbacked his side to the win. That was a long time ago, so it doesn't count. I don't know about Father Time catching anyone. Last I checked I'm older than he is. Cats don't care much about time as long as the food is available. Hamilton by 10

He cannot be stopped. He can only be contained.

B.C. guts out a close win over the Argosand so does Ottawa in Montreal, and Winnipeg in Saskatchewan. Less close is Calgary running roughshod over the Esks, and just plain heartbreaking is the Argos blowing a 20-point lead in Hamilton.
At some point when I was on vacation, rcade jumped out to a huge lead. Can he be caught?
Back to a regular slate of four games this week, and no silly Wednesday/Monday shenanigans.
WEEK 12
Montreal @ B.C. (Friday, September 9)
I've been away for a while. Is Montreal still bad? *checks* Yes. Yes, they are. But Kevin Glenn is making them seem a lot better than they are.
Saskatchewan @ Winnipeg (Saturday, September 10)
Saskatchewan has at least been making things close over the past couple of weeks. Are they due for a big second win? Probably not, but could be a sexy pick if you're trying to make a big move.
Calgary @ Edmonton (Saturday, September 10)
Okay, so Calgary hasn't lost since Week 1. So now we're playing "Beat the streak". And probably Edmonton too.
Hamilton @ Toronto (Sunday, September 11)
Meanwhile, Toronto is in free fall. Their last win was in Week 6. Ricky Ray is back, which may be a glimmer of hope? But Father Time catches us all eventually. (Except Kevin Glenn.)
Good luck!
