Rainieri is a genius. Why can't everyone else see that?

Matt Cassel is putting on a clinic of bad quarterbacking tonight. First the wobble-footed interception on a pass to no one, then a retreat that turns a sack into a 20-yard mega-sack.
We all know Tony Romo is crafty. I think he's done something that ruins every other quarterback who comes to Dallas.

If you're looking for an example of a "forgotten star" in sports, then Dickie Moore of the Montreal Canadiens is probably your best example. He passed away on Saturday.

Every other quarterback?

Update from my post on December 7th about the undefeated NCAA football teams.
There are now only three undefeated teams left in all national organized NCAA football divisions (FBS, FCS, DII, DIII, NAIA).
Mount Union finished their season 15-0 after winning the DIII title at the 2015 Stagg Bowl.
Northwest Missouri State finished their season 15-0 after winning the DII title on Saturday.
Clemson is the only undefeated team left in the FBS level, and are currently sitting 13-0, with a matchup against Oklahoma on December 31st in the FBS playoff semi-finals. A win there and in the finals (against the winner of Alabama/Michigan State) would leave them undefeated for the year.
If Clemson should lose, then you can build a chain of wins for Mount Union AND NW Missouri St. over the other three teams.
Example: Mount Union over Alabama, NW Missouri State over Michigan State or Oklahoma.

Matt Cassel playing QB for the Pats in 2008 and Matt Cassel playing QB for the Cowboys in 2015 are two very different versions of "defying the oddsmakers".
Speaking of oddsmakers, I loved the quarter by quarter scoring in the Las Vegas Bowl. Not something you see every day.

The Vegas Bowl and the Celebration Bowl (HBCU Championship) have set a very high bar for this bowl season.

Dickie Moore of the Montreal Canadiens
Another "hated enemy" of my youth has passed, but Dickie Moore, like all of those whom we hate only because they are not wearing our team's sweater, was a class act. I believe Moore was "forgotten" only because of his teammates. When you are in the company of the Richards, Beliveaus', Geoffrions, Harveys, and Plantes, your very bright light just is not as visible.
RIP Dickie Moore.

Leicester City become the first team in Premiership history to be bottom of the league one Christmas and top of the league the next Christmas.
Just like everyone predicted.
