Colin Kaepernick thought a photo of catastrophic, deadly flooding in Texas was a great opportunity to promote his plan to suck less this coming season. "I warned you the #7StormsComing," he wrote in an Instagram caption.

Watch Colin refer to the next deadly tidal wave in the Pacific as a Tomsula.

"No disrespect intended! Prayers up!"

Now he's offended Satanists as well.

My Dad always said that you have 2 ears and 1 mouth, so you should listen twice as much as you speak. Unfortunately, Twitter has allowed us the use all 10 fingers, thus overwhelming by a factor of 5 the idea of listening prior to commenting. Ah yes, Twitter, idiocy in 140 characters or less.

Things have gone off the rails with the Blue Jays today. Because of their large bullpen, and the fact that one of their multi-positional utility players (Tolleson) is injured, a slew of pinch-hitting requirements mean we get to watch catcher Russell Martin play second base in the 9th inning. It's the second game in his MLB career at the position.

Update: The Jays tied the game in the bottom of the 9th, and now Martin will play 2B for the 10th inning.
