Follow-up from a post last week that I made:

Curt Schilling's claims untrue.

Curt Schilling's claim in 2008 that a member of the team's medical staff raised the possibility of treating his injured shoulder with a performance-enhancing drug was "completely baseless," investigations conducted by both the Boston Red Sox and Major League Baseball concluded, according to two baseball sources with direct knowledge of the investigations.

Did he look for a zombie that wasn't paying attention and lay a crushing block?

Kevin Garnett's trash talking gets picked up by the boom mikes.

At the few times when the Garden crowd is not at full volume, you can hear Garnett up in the balcony. I'm surprised with the amount of breath he expends in yelling he still has enough to finish a 3-overtime game.

There was a lot of light-hearted talk in the C's locker room after last night's marathon about the team's age. I've heard the C's are saving a few bucks by billing Medicare for their trainers' salaries.

Can we do a white smoke Pick 'Em on the upcoming papal election?

My money's on Braz de Aviz to win on the third ballot.

(Non Catholics scurry to their PayPal account home page to see what election I'm referring to).

Also, the over and under on the likelihood (currently at 50%) that Katie Couric will be charmed by the outcome.

Pitchers, catchers, and Cardinals report! Habemus squatem!
