I was rooting for Boston to win, solely to see a sweep of the winners by MrFrisby. After seeing their fans' reaction to the loss, I say fuck'm.

Same rules for round 2, pick the winner of each series and number of games. Your matchups are:

NY Rangers vs. Washington
Philadelphia vs. New Jersey

St. Louis vs. Los Angeles
Phoenix vs. Nashville

So, let's see them picks, round 2 starts tonight, FFS...

bill -- looks like you have picked two winners in the West from the same series.

Rangers in 6 (I want to know who was feeding Ottawa 'good hockey' pills. Caps won't fool NYR)

Flyers in 7 (Pittsburgh was too busy reading press clippings to play defense, and my initial sentiment about NJ still holds)

St. Louis in 6. (This could be another Bruins vs Caps series in which nobody scores in bunches. Kings would be my sentimental choice, but reality holds true.)

Nashville in 5 (Coyotes played some tough hockey to get past Chicago, but the only Raffi they'll hear from is the one who sings kid songs. Pred's game is solid.)

Yes! Yes! Fuck you too!

Washington in 7 (I said last round, I would pick the upset if the Rangers played the Caps)
New Jersey in 6 (This isn't what I first typed, but the homer part of my brain took over)
St.Louis in 5 (...rolling like thunder, under the covers...)
Nashville in 6 (What am I, made of money? I can't afford playoff tickets this round. Make it to the next round, and we'll talk)

And good catch, holden. I'll try to get his attention in a huddle if he doesn't catch it here...
