Falcons Corner: Jaguars Receivers are 'Jokes': After Thursday's 41-14 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson slammed the team's receivers. “They had Matt Jones? Now, Chastin West? Those guys are fucking jokes. Those guys couldn’t get a fucking receiver if it hit them in the head," he told several reporters after the game. "They haven’t had anyone decent since Jimmy Smith." No Jags receiver has caught for 1,000 yards in a season since Smith retired in 2005.
He might be right (the Jags receiving corps does suck) but he's Dunta "f*cking burnt toast" Robinson and needs to shut the hell up. Look forward to the day when some wide receiver says the same thing about him (oh wait, they probably have, just not in front of the media)

With the proximity of the Jags' stadium to the river, I'd be worried about bringing in Sam Hurd.

Jacksonville's also on the I-95 drug corridor.

"It's so bad the Jags are probably talking about whether to pick up Sam Hurd."
They've got to do something to replace Matt Jones for drug-related offenses.
Also, it's pretty awesome when an NFL player comes out and says that a team's unit sucks, and everyone pretty much just nods their heads and says, yup.

It's unfair to judge Blaine Gabbert so negatively when nobody in his receiving corps is capable of getting open, with the exception of Marcedes Lewis.
Gabbert screwed the pooch all on his own several times in that game.
As I said to a coworker the next day, "That game was entertaining for all the wrong reasons."

Mike Thomas looked decent last season, but he seems to have regressed heavily this year.

And then there's I-10 heading west...
