President Obama forgot to call the Cardinals when they won the World Series. I knew there was a reason I liked the guy.

La Russa said he'll coach the All Star game if asked. I hope they do. I hate that rat bastard and all the other Cardinals, naturally, but he was a hell of a manager.

A Chicago baseball fan calling to congratulate a St. Louis team for winning the World Series?

The Metrodome people are claiming that because their roof collapsed, that means the Vikings have to stay there an extra year.

If he's anything like all of the Sox fans that I know, he was probably rooting for the Cards just to piss off Cubs fans.

Grow your Mo

I'm letting my beard grow. Trouble is it is coming in the same color as the background color of Thomas's mask. More like Commander Whitehead than Lord Kitchener.

Interesting that the Kitchener graphics on the mask bear such a striking resemblance to the long established trade dress of Massachusetts based W.B. Mason Co.

More interesting is that W.B. Mason is having their own November mustache promotion, and that there is no mention of Mason on the Thomas page and no mention of Thomas on the Mason page.

Both efforts are targeted at helping the same causes. There's got to be a connection somewhere, but if there is, I haven't noticed it.
