I can honestly say that watching paint dry may have been more exciting then last nights game.. I kept hearing "CLANG" in my sleep. I looked like me and some of my buddies firing up close shots in a pick up game. I am a fan of defense and there was alot of that, but they are probably taking belts and shoelaces away from NCAA execs today. What a awful end to a great season. They set the game back 20 years last night.

Also, as a Pitt fan, I have been asked to turn in my belt and shoelaces for a few days as well. Watching the last 2 teams that beat us play last night shows how much of a choke job the Panthers pulled yet again.

Parents of Mormon basketball players considering BYU should check out Butler.

Definitely no scoring there.

Former Alabama basketball coach, Mark Gottfried, is now NC State's new coach. Much head-scratching and hand-wringing is happening in Raleigh right now.

I wondered how they happened to end up with Gottfried. Wimp Sanderson wasn't available?

If you're Jim Nantz, today has to be one of your favorite days of the year. You bid a bittersweet farewell to your NCAA tournament assignment with a Texas-sized room service breakfast and climb aboard a small jet that whisks you to well-catered afternoon pre-production meetings at Augusta National, followed by dinner on the veranda.

The tassel loafers are already cleaned and polished and someone is on hand to make sure that your chair by the fireplace in the Butler Cabin feels as comfortable as it did last year. The air is filled with insects buzzing, bird songs, and the snap of practice drives being struck well into the early evening. The nearby tarmac is lined with tidy rows of sponsored six day Buicks. Waitresses at area pancake restaurants plump their hair and look out at the boulevard, hoping for a glimpse of their former patron saint. A muffled roar blooms in the distance when a water-skimming practice round trick shot proves to have an extra dash of flagstick radar as it makes the green.

Sunday evening, with its holstering of the irons and coiling of the cables, will intrude on the verdant moment all too soon.

Great comment, Beaverboard. Dammit I need to code the Favorites feature!

Strangley, Arod with Jeter's features doesn't faze me, but Derek Jeter with Arod's eyes and mouth gives me nightmares.
