What? There Is WorldCup For Cricket??
The semi-final match between Pakistan and India is believed to be the most watched single sporting match on television in history.
They estimate 800million people in India alone watched it. Throw in Pakistan, England, Australia, South Africa, and 1st- and 2nd-generation immigrants in the United States, Canada, and other parts of Europe, and the estimate for the viewing audience was 1 BILLION.

With what his agent Bus Cook says is his deep concern over the divided loyalties he has created in the Midwest, Brett Favre has reportedly decided to enter the Hall of Fame as a New York Jet.
Reaction thus far has been understandably mixed.

But only five of them were American, so the whole event doesn't count. Apparently.
I've had fun explaining cricket at work using a whiteboard. My favourite question so far has been "is that the game played on a horse?"
I'd have loved to see Curtley Ambrose charging in on horseback.
"Look at your wicket. Now back at me. I'm on a horse."
Also, it appears you broke the whole page with your fancy "Billion." I turned your "b" off, but don't know what you used to change the font.

Obits for former Red Sox GM Lou Gorman
Sorry, Mr. Gorman can't be disturbed now, he's at lunch. I might add that since memories in Red Sox Nation tend to be long, the sun might never set on Lou Gorman's legacy. He was a good one.

I swear when I saw the story I thought it was grum@work playing another April Fool joke. Dennis Rodman elected to Hall of Fame?

The
Sachin TendulkarCricket World Cup Final is on Saturday in Mumbai, home of Bollywood. This guy isn't Indian*, isn't a batsman, but he's a genuine national hero, and he may have the biggest say in who wins on the night. He's also put up with his fair share of rubbish written about his action, and come through with his honour and reputation intact.
*Don't even think about it.
