LeBron James scores 51 as Heat slip by Magic

Interesting inscription on Super Bowl headgear.

Not sure what's up with the North Texas thing. Whether that's a Jerry deal or a league deal.

Or maybe rcade and other NTSU alums pulled off a branding coup when we weren't looking.

Edit update: some SB merch features colors that have nothing to do with either team playing in the game. This item could easily be a - well, a Dallas Cowboy cap, I suppose. Got a Jones family smell to it. Dreams die hard.

No NTSU grad here. It became UNT while I attended in the '80s.

Fans in Dunblane were terribly distraught when Andy Murray lost the Aussie Open final. Or something.

There's a UNT and an NTSU??

Apparently, they don't want to say it's in Arlington because no one would know what that means, or would think it was at the cemetery outside of Washington. I notice national sportscasts call it Dallas, but the stadium (including the previous one) has not been in Dallas in decades.

No. NTSU became UNT in 1988. The only thing that did not change to reflect the new name was our radio statio KNTU.

I have heard a rumor Rick Depietro is out 4-6 weeks with fractured facial bones suffered in his fight with Brent Johnson.

I do wonder if some of these fights are pre-arranged. I men the tale of the tape appearing on screen immediately.

I swear hockey gets more like wrestling every day...

The tale of the tape is something added by the web site that features NHL fights. It does not appear on the live broadcast. The thing between Campbell and Ott went back about 2 years, and last night was the first time they had played each other since. The next 2 bouts were simply boys being boys, while the 4th, later in the period and not shown in the linked clip, was the result of a Dallas player shooting the puck on goal well after a whistle -- a no no in the unwritten rules of conduct.

One of the injured at Cowboys Stadium is listed as having a concussion...damn that football is getting dangerous.

Jones has to be going crazy over Mother Nature upstaging his game.
