Titans have had it with Vince Young: Young says that coach Jeff Fisher never trusted him. Owner Bud Adams announced that Young will not be on the Titans roster next year, adding
that a new quarterback is needed.
Unlike Leinart, Vince Young has actually had success in the NFL. I think VY is not going to have trouble finding another team and starting job.

Well it is nice to see at least one owner knows how to handle a situation like this. Lets face it you can't let the inmates run the asylum. Regardless of how Fisher handled Young, you don't let a prima donna determine who your coach is. There is a pecking order and the coach is higher up than any player.
Fisher is no Childress and Young is no Brett Favre. Maybe he felt he could get the coach fired but then again Fisher is no Brad Childress and Young is no Brett Favre. I am not saying the Minnesota situation was handled correctly but the fact is Childress was a lousy coach with a sure hall of fame player and Fisher is an excellent coach with a mediocre player at best.

Bud Adams is no Wellington Mara either.
At this point, he's not even a Jerry Jones.
Whatever Fisher has been getting paid to deal with both Young and Adams, it probably isn't enough.

The Titans haven't exactly given a vote of confidence to Fisher either. And, why should they? Fisher can't blame Young for the terrible way the Titans closed out the season. Young is right. Fisher never trusted him, and was ready to pull him at every mistake. That couldn't have been good for VY's development. Hopefully, he'll have better luck at his next team.
Jeff Fisher is no Belichick either. He's a good coach, but I think excellent is really overstating the Titans success.

I would like to be the first to welcome Vince Young to the Pacific Northwest.
Pete Carroll made a mistake with Clipboard Jesus and I think Matt Hamstringpull is done. Carroll might be the guy that could deal with the delicacy of Young's fragile ego. Of course none of it may matter next year anyhoo.

Maybe Vince will take his talents to South Beach.

Or this could be a ploy considering there could very well be a lockout next year and Young is due a roster bonus if he's still on the roster. I wouldn't be surprised if Bud Adams brings back Young next year for less money.

Young is way too sensitive to be trying some ploy like that on him.

Interesting idea. If there is a lockout, do owners still have to pay a roster bonus? And if so, could teams be dumping players in advance of the lockout to avoid paying the bonus?
In this case, I don't know that it is a ploy. Why would they go ahead and publicize the matter in advance? Wouldn't they just keep it quiet until they had to take action?

Vince Young/Matt Leinhart. Since that National championship game, it has been all down hill
