Illinois-Oakland Play 7 Minutes with Women's Ball: No. 16 Illinois played the first seven minutes of its game Wednesday night with a women's basketball. College women play with a ball one inch smaller and two ounces lighter. Illinois trailed by 11 with the smaller ball, but came back to win 74-63. "I wanted to keep it," Oakland coach Greg Kampe said. "We were ahead."

If it were women playing with a men's ball for the first 11 minutes, where I come from, that would be a dream come true.

That's some quality officiating.

Comforting to get affirmation that men's balls are bigger.

They're taking it much better than I did when I played with a woman's balls for seven minutes before I figured it out.
