Henry's celebratory kick injures keeper Hartman: Should TH face any punishment? Accidental or not, a torn MCL likely means months in recovery for Hartman or at 36 is a potential career-ender. Or is TH teflon, considering he got no meaningful repercussion from his World Cup qualifying handball goal?

I'm too biased to comment on whether he should be suspended or not (both because of my rooting interest and the fact that I hate Kevin Hartman). But if he is, I can't see it happening until after RB's game with LA next Friday. I don't think The Don wants to keep Henry out of a matchup against Beckham.

Some interesting comments by Ichiro in this article:

"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hurtful to be called selfish," Ichiro says. "But the irony is 2001 was actually my most selfish season, yet I won the MVP. Now how do you explain that? It was my first year here and I was the first Japanese position player to come over, so I had no room for failure. Out of necessity, I had to be totally consumed with myself. I couldn't be concerned if the team lost 100 games that year, I only had the capacity to worry about my own performance. But as self-absorbed as I was, at the end of the year, they said, 'You were the greatest player in the league,' and voted me MVP. Gradually, as I established myself by consistently producing similar results over several years and developed latitude for the team, all of a sudden what was once an effort worthy of MVP is now branded selfish? It was illogical. That's exactly what I mean by ambiguity in people's appraisals."
