Man Intentionally Vomits on Fans at Phillies Game: A 21-year-old New Jersey man, Matthew Clemmens, intentionally vomited on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands during Wednesday night's Phillies game, police said. Clemmens allegedly made himself vomit on an off-duty police captain and his family after a friend was ejected from the park for unruly behavior.

Words fail me to describe how revolting that is.

Ugh. Doesn't really surprise me though. I've seen some vile, vile behavior from Flyers fans at Hurricanes games. Just down right vile.

Glad to see the black eye on the guy in the photo. Whatta jerk.

Not to keep beating a dead horse here, but the key to this is Matthew Clemmens, 21, of Cherry Hill, N.J. . What do you expect?

Not to keep beating a dead horse here...

Then stop beating it. Your act is getting old.

Your act is getting old.

Don't make it so easy for us, and people wouldn't be making comments like this.

This guy shoved a finger down his throat and vomited on a child. Blaming any of his behavior on the fact he lives in a particular state is stupid -- as if Massachusetts or anyplace else doesn't have its fair share of assholes.

Of course you think that, having lived in Texas and Florida.

Don't be so quick to point, American.

But we went through this last week, New Jersey seems to be taking more than its fair share of a little too frequently lately. New Jersey seems to have more than its fair shares of fair shares?

Synopsis: article about a stupid act inspires a thread full of dumb.

Come on, people.

As opposed to a Maple Leafs game, where the team makes you vomit.

I assume Demophon's link goes to the home page for "Jersey Shore."

Not here. The name Tucson, loosley translated, means "nobody vomits on children".

Well that's good. It may be a backwards desert shithole, but at least nobody vomits on children.

Pekin?

Indeed. Home of the Pekin Chinks, the Marigold Festival and the tenderloin sandwich.

An old roommate of mine grew up in Pekin. She told me of the town's illustrious history. oy!

Well, here's something a little bit nicer that happened at a Phillies game.

That's way cool, cl. I think the announcer was making fun of you for eating ice cream instead of drinking a "beverage," though;)

Nice catch for sure.

Assuming that was you?

No, it wasn't me. I just follow the blog he writes on.

Though I did catch one for my 4-year old nephew a few years ago. The foul ball prep talk is important for kids that age, I discovered, when he geared up and almost tossed it back.

So everyone will leave us alone for booing Santa Claus during an Eagles' game in '69?

Seriously, though, this punk ought to do community service, get tested for alcohol, have his driver's license suspended and heaven knows what else until he grows up ... which should be around 2027.

I have to admit, in the annals of retributive behaviour, voluntarily projectile vomiting is a unique addition. Now there's a guy who really doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. He'll puke on a little girl! On purpose! No doubt awaiting some high fives.

His face is way too clean. He should look a lot worse.

I do know that if it were me, they'd have to peel me off Mr. Fatshit. Puking on someone has got to be up at the top of disrespectful acts. I think a demand of blood in return is pretty fair.

I don't run into a whole lot of Phillies fans out here in the Pacific. In fact, I've known three. A Minister, his wife and this dude who is a guitar player in a local pub band.

Based on these three, I've decided that I'm going to let my stereotype of Phillies fans be nice, kind-hearted people who say "fudge" when they see their team make a bad play and who seem genuinely happy for you when your team wins - even when they beat your team.

Also, the Minister was originally from New Jersey. And he's just the nicest dude you're ever likely to meet. And I'm not even Christian.

Anyhow, sorry you have some junk fans, Phillies.
