Another problematic Steelers receiver is heading to New York.

Can't believe that trade...and for a 5th rounder? Crazy. Guess we know which way they're going to go in the draft now...they can't expect Hines to perform for more than another couple of years and they have zero confidence in Limas Sweed.

Well, Holmes is in the final year of his contract and may start the season on a 4 game suspension, so it's not as crazy as it looks on the face of it.

There are still rumors that the Steelers will also get Leon Washington once he signs a tender offer. I hope we get something more then 5th round for a former 1st rounder/Superbowl MVP.

Suspension or not I'd say Holmes for a fifth rounder is a fantastic steal for the Jets.

Could not agree with you more. I for one was hoping the rumor about Leon Washington was true. At least that would make this move a little easier to swallow. As the day goes on, that seems more unlikely. Pittsburgh papers are reporting that the team was ready to cut him and took what they could find on short notice. Seems like if you wait till draft day, you could have got a little more value for him or used him to trade up.

Don't tell Kobe what he can't do.

Dan Jenkins embarrassed himself with this ethnic joke on Twitter during the Masters: "Y.E. Yang is only three shots off the lead. I think we got takeout from him last night."

Rick Tocchet wasn't betting that would happen...

Kind of a let-down, but the league has already awarded the Super Bowl trophy to the Jets, if I'm reading this article right.
