Florida State Gets Funky New Nike Uniforms: When the Florida State Seminoles take the field Nov. 21 against Maryland, they will for the first time be wearing the Nike Pro Combat uniform design. The uniforms feature sublimated twill jerseys, combat deflex underwear, titanium belt buckles, jazz hand gloves that form an authentic Native American who is not insulted by being reduced to a mascot and shoulders covered with "high-tenacity yarn," which is stitching so dangerous it should require a seven-day waiting period.

The gloves forming the mascot is pretty clever. The helmets look awesome.

The uniform looks like Spiderman and the shoes look like they're made of patent leather. Do they reflect up?

Can't wait to see how a 375 lb. lineman pours his gut into the new unis.

Not sure if "Noles" on the waist line is such a good idea. From the wrong angle..

My, how fancy. I think I'm going to get the underwear with the pads built in and wear them every day.

Now if they could only develop streak-resistant underwear, I could get behind that, sure.

You mean the kind that don't allow you to strip them off and run free across the pitch at a futbol match?

Oh no, I mean the kind that prevent me from winning too many times in a row, of course.

Now why would anybody want to get behind someone with a tendency to streak his underwear? At least close behind, that is.

Didn't we have a discussion of flatulence in the huddle a while back?
