I hope he didn't file the papers.: Sergei Federov finally confirms what had been rumored forever — that he and Anna K were more than just an item. While I'm sorry for Sergei that it didn't work (think I have a shot with Anna?), I wonder: what's the best sports couple ever? My vote: Stefie Graf and Andre Agassi, of course. I've already bought the IPO on their child.

Steffi and Agassi, definitely. I hope Stefi will agree to play mixed doubles with Andre at the French Open.

Although they never got married (to my knowledge) and are no longer even together (to my knowledge) at one point Mia Hamm and Nomar Garciappara were supposedly a couple. And of course Chris Evert and Jimmy Connors. Also Florence Joyner had a husband who threw the shot in the Olympics.

Vito: Hamm and Garciaparra are engaged as of this winter.

I didn't realize that this marriage was *still* considered a rumour? I remember seeing a report about it nearly three years ago -- maybe that was considered a rumour. But I do remember being upset at the news.

What if the Graf/Agassi baby doesn't want to play tennis? Could the child be more of a "rebel" to his/her parents than that?

Pardon my spelling of Steffie ... I shortened it from the link. Hey, Jimmy Connors did better than that — he married Patty McGuire of Playboy centerfold fame. And how the hell can you people forget Terry Bradshaw and Jo Jo Starbuck?!? One other thing this story did for me: I finally know Anna K is legal. It's hard to tell, huh?

Didn't Anna K date Enrique Iglesias during that video Escape?

wfrazerjr: Connors and McGuire don't technically make a "sports couple." Unless you consider sport fucking a sport.

worldcup...how about bizzaro world sport fucking? I mean goddamn can you think of a worse couple? Could Pauly Shore really, truly satisfy a porn star? Their kids would probably excel at the Marathon Coke Binge or the Shotput a Needle in Your Vein. I'm bored at work today.

I'm afraid to click the link, vito90. Is it work-safe? I'll wait until I get home. btw, you named some good events for the Coke Olympics, nyuk nyuk nyuk. Or is it the Spatial Olympics (space out, duuuudes....)?

worldcup: yes. I also have my referee's credentials. vito90, that link was just scary. According to a friend of mine who spent some time with the one and only Weasel after a show many years ago, however ... he could have handled Savannah.

Wow, this got ugly quick. A few points to clarify: Vito: Flo Jo married Al Joyner, gold medalist in the Triple Jump in 1984. Marion Jones married (and then divorced) CJ Hunter, a former World Champion in the Shot Put who is currently under a (surprise) steriod ban. wfrazerjr: think I have a shot with Anna? No.

worldcup - the link features a scantily clad porn star which should be work safe, but there's also a picture of pauly shore which should not be viewed under any circumstances. kloeprich, thanks for the clarification!

just to clarify ... I meant, do I have a shot with Anna Nicole Smith? That chick is H-O-T.

Sorry - then yes. And you'd be doing us all favor if you'd take that shot. (Preferably large caliber, close range.)
