Baseball Players Claim Milwaukee Hotel Haunted: The Pfister, a century-old downtown Milwaukee hotel that's often frequented by visiting pro sports teams, is haunted, according to some baseball players. "It was more like a moving light that kind of passed through the room," said Brendan Ryan of the St. Louis Cardinals of one incident. "It was very strange. The room got a little bit chillier. Strange things. Strange things."

All I can think of (or wish for) is a vision of a naked Jose Canseco running screaming down the hallway, hollering for Orel Hershiser to come help save him from the devil.

Orel, do me a favor. Take your time. Make him suffer some.

A spiritual descendant of Jim Bouton should write a book about the Pfister. They can title it "Ghoul Four".

All I can think of (or wish for) is a vision of a naked Jose Canseco ...

Now there's a comment I wasn't expecting to see on SportsFilter this afternoon.

"It was very strange. The room got a little bit chillier."

Are you sure that wasn't a Coors Lite train commercial?

I think the only thing haunting about the Pfister is the sense of color combination for the rooms. Who the heck is the interior designer for this place, Walt Disney?

Combine this with the name of the hotel (Pfister) and one harkens back to the good old days of the Jose Canseco MMA thread. Good times.

I've heard of cutting two feet off of the bench, and even painting the visitors locker room the day of a game, but haunted hotels? Cool.
