Cheers To Pleasant Danger!: Attention lurkers, and the rest of youse too (Especially if you live within reach of NYC)!

By Executive Order, yerfatma has graciously decided to perform a portion of a Mission of Honor with us at a yet-to-be-determined establishment in New York tomorrow night. Given that it's the opening night of the NBA playoffs, I suspect we'll be watching Detroit maul the Magic, and drinking Some of All Beers, Without Remorse.

Anyone interested in joining in helping Mister Clancy pay his Debt of Honor?

Sigh. Can we do this again some time that is not a week before my con law exam?

Don't be ridiculous. No! Okay. (Also, sorry about the post. I started and I couldn't stop.)

I would go, but I'm a little uncomfortable with the tag you chose for the post. If everyone's going to be wearing belly shirts, I am out. You should kick this off earlier in the day. Say, 3:55 pm. There's some sort of sporting event starting at that time that I'm sure Mr. Red October would love to watch in a NYC bah.

Ooooh ooooh!! I want to learn how to con laws too!

That is a very real possibility. We haven't nailed down a time, and at 4ish we could really stretch Mister Ma's legendary stamina. And not everyone will be wearing belly shirts. Just you. (You're welcome.)

Alas, I will be painting. I am still looking forward to these "joys" of home ownership I have heard so much of. Do take photos if an SpoFi gathering does take place. I don't fully believe yerfatma exists. He's a myth like the Easter Bunny, Suri Cruise and this concept of 'comfortable high heels' If the Easter Bunny or Suri Cruise attends, please take photos of them too. Bonus if yerfatma is wearing comfortable high heels.

I don't fully believe yerfatma exists. I am actually in full agreement with that statement.

I'm out in Ohio doing some flight test this weekend, otherwise I'd volunteer to translate Noo Hampshuhese to Noo Yawkese. Don't let them city slickers get you drunk and take advantage of you, Fatty. Too early to watch Patriot Games.

What are you guys talking about? I've read Tom Clancy but I really don't know what the heck you are acting or re-enacting. This makes me thing some public prank is happening. But I'm lost.

I'm on....I dunno hour 79 of a what will likely wind up being a 90+ hour work week, but I'd sell it all to attend this. Alas, I'm stuck in Texas. Have fun you fantastic and knowledgable bastards. Take some pics. I'd request a shoutout, but that's *so* 2003.

I don't care what year it is. I request a shoutout in Ufez's honor. That'd be awesome, thanks.

Alright, I just got off the phone with him. He's up on Museum Row, and wending his way southward. We're going to meet up at 4:00 at at the Black Sheep (3rd Avenue between 38th & 39th). It's findable, there's lots of screens, beer, burgers, wings, video games, and whatnot. Come on by.

yerfatma isn't nearly the asshole that i thought he was. i'm almost disappointed. here's a picture.

From here on out, the enduring image in my head everytime I see one of his comments will be of yerfatma prominently sporting a Nike swoosh. Unbelievable. Sorry I missed the gala event -- chores caught up to me yesterday. Probably not a bad thing -- given the Yankees performance yesterday (and their general state) my bar tab probably would have looked like the national debt.

Would have loved to be tehre with you guys. Cool Photo. I am reminded of what the Duke Of Wellington said upon reviewing his troops before the Battle of Waterloo: "I don't know what they do to the enemy, but by Christ they scare the hell out of me."

A cherub-faced scoundrel, that yerfatma.

yerfatma isn't nearly the asshole that i thought he was. I would point out my wife was with me. I still have her fooled.
