Please remove eighteen minutes from the game clock.: The ticker in the corner says 12:30pm (CST), which is correct, but I just posted a comment with a timestamp of 12:48pm CST.

posted by DrJohnEvans to bugs at 12:51 PM - 27 comments

And the clock now says 12:33pm, but it says my post was posted at 12:51.

YOU ARE FROM THE FUTURE! OMG!

Don't change it back until Wednesday night - I want to know the winning lottery numbers.

posted by Mr Bismarck at 01:22 PM on February 08, 2005

Don't they cut off lottery sales 15 minutes or so before the drawing?

He's not DrJohnEvans, he's DrJohnTitor!!!

In twenty minutes I'll be sitting at my desk surfing the Internet.

Don't they cut off lottery sales 15 minutes or so before the drawing? Yes, but as I live in another timezone, I'm already five hours into the future! You should see my flying car.

quick, tell us who wins the England-Holland friendly!

England!

posted by Mr Bismarck at 02:01 PM on February 09, 2005

What about US v Trinidad and Tobago, since you are prognosticating.

posted by trox at 03:35 PM on February 09, 2005

US was all over T&T, and not in a homoerotic, sexy way either. Though the Islanders did put some pressure on in the last 15 minutes as the Americans wilted in the 100 degree heat.

England! Dammit, my future is broken. Can I have another one?

posted by Mr Bismarck at 06:48 PM on February 09, 2005

Say, can we get the FPP links to open in a new window?

posted by StarFucker at 07:52 PM on February 10, 2005

Report: In 18 minutes, there will still be no NHL. Shit.

posted by chicobangs at 10:05 PM on February 10, 2005

In the future, everything will open in new windows. In fact, new windows will open even if a link wasn't clicked.

posted by DrJohnEvans at 10:56 PM on February 10, 2005

How about right-clicking the link and selecting "Open in New Window". It's hardly fucking rocket science. I've seen sites such as you mention DrJohn, they weren't in the future though.

posted by squealy at 05:55 AM on February 11, 2005

I've seen sites such as you mention DrJohn, they weren't in the future though. For DrJohn they are. Try to wrap your mind around *that* one, my friend.

NoMich, you are seriously freaking me out.

posted by chicobangs at 10:03 AM on February 11, 2005

I'm still sitting at my desk surfing the Internet.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's even a spoon at all.

posted by chicobangs at 11:17 AM on February 11, 2005

Schroedinger's Link: It opens in both a new window and the old one...until you look at it.

posted by mbd1 at 12:47 PM on February 11, 2005

Whoa whoa whoa. Slow down there, egghead.

posted by Samsonov14 at 03:55 PM on February 11, 2005

How about right clicking on my ASS!?

posted by StarFucker at 06:04 PM on February 11, 2005

I'm going nowhere near your ass SF. However much you might want me to. And that holds true for the past, present and future. Whatever they are.

posted by squealy at 06:28 PM on February 11, 2005

Is that why, when I right click, I get the option to "Save Target Ass"?

posted by Mr Bismarck at 01:18 PM on February 13, 2005

Well that explains why I'm having so much trouble sitting down. I thought it was this chair.

posted by chicobangs at 07:33 PM on February 13, 2005

Ah.
