Spreadsheet here. Can someone look at how Preview is messing up my table html ?? I have additional </td> tags added on preview and post.

I had the problem too, BigCalm, before corpse set me straight. You have to remove all carriage returns from the table so that it is all on one line.

- no gap

- gap of approximately five lines, one for each line break

You can drop my gumball post. It was useless. That brings you down to 5. No motor sports category for you! ;-p

"Can we have a motor sport category now?" Not unless you call it Guys Turning Left. A Lot.

That would be a NASCAR category. The F1 category would be "Guys Who Let Other Guys Win Because Their Boss Told Them To." The Indy/CART category would be "Guys Who Used To Be Popular But Aren't Anymore Because of Petty Infighting." The Rally Car category would be "Guys Who Are Big In Europe. Honest!" The Motorbike category would be "Guys You Watch For The Insane Wipeouts." /snootiness

The Gumball thing may have been "useless" but it did spark some discussion. Motorsports category seems popular enough . And Clamster needs something to take his mind off the footie. :-P

Here you go, Clammy: Bikini Bandit gallery.

Why do you call him clammy or the clamster- it's bigcalm, not bigclam. It's like when people call me hicandenza (I'm not a drunk!) or hincadenza (I'm not the ending to a sonata!) Ah, you guys!!! Oh, and thanks wc2k. Thank you from the bottom of my... heart.

I don't care what you say Hic, he'll always be the Clamster to me.

Sod the motor sports, can we have a saucy pics category?
posted by Fat Buddha at 06:20 PM on May 03, 2003
Hal: We know what Calmy's name is. It's like when someone's name is John, but then everybody calls him "Jack". I mean, wtf? There's no real logic. We do it on purpose because Clammy just sounds a lot more funny than Calmy. (For proof, you can see that I've been spelling his name right for 38 straight weeks -- every time I do the EPL fantasy league report.) Go Clammy! And Go, Hickydenza!

btw, I notice Calmy is very quiet. He must like the pictures. Yes, we should definitely have a saucy pics category. Which are sports-related, of course. Of course.

A beach volleyball category?

FB, that's your idea of saucy? Look at the cottage chees thighs in the foreground, I'm going to have nightmares tonight!

Looks like there should be a boys club category... or is that already considered Golf?

BigCalm: Before we add a category, I'd like to see how many posts it has for at least three months. How did motor sports do in March and February?

I posted a motor sport thingy and I hate the bloody sport, it was more a psychology of sportsman thing; moreover, it had no responses, so you cannot count that!

And what about a fantasy sports catagory for the locker room? There are going to be at least 3 or 4 fantasy posts a week.

Navel gazing sounds about right, no?
posted by worldcup2002 at 12:46 PM on May 05, 2003
Perhaps, but I'd like to pull up the fantasy catagory just to get the fantasy threads. that way I don't have to weed through other stuff just to check the standings 5 weeks ago.

I know, you love reading my tear-jerking reports, literary treasures that they are. You're so sweet, corpse. A sweet, sweet corpse. Sigh ...

Goddamn. I'm really offended by this blatant objectification of men. I'm going to get you kicked off the SpoFi. Pantheon! btw, if you're interested, j-girl, I've got some pics of my own ...

Who the chuff is that wimpy guy in the pic?
posted by Fat Buddha at 05:45 PM on May 05, 2003
It's Nomar Garciaparra. He's a professional baseball player (Boston Red Sox, jerseygirl's fave team), and he's currently shagging this young thing with great regularity (last I heard)... That's Mia Hamm, women soccer's most famous player, if you couldn't recognizer her.

Waitaminute. I thought she was married! She is/was, and not to Nomar.
posted by worldcup2002 at 01:06 AM on May 06, 2003
Oh, here we go, looks like she married Chris Corey in 1994, got divorced in 2001 and engaged to Nomar this Valentine's Day. Oh, the power of love. And Google.

Yes yes. He also used to date Jules Asner and also dated... Lauren Holly have a nice day, fellas. ;)
