The top 100 college point guards: of the last fifteen years. The top 20 is the only one i have truly examined and agree with the makeup of the list if not the individual rankings.

Even if Gretzky is a horrible failure as a coach, it will not tarnish his legacy as a player. The previously cited Ted Williams is a perfect example of this. In my opinion, the only truly all-time great player who has tarnished his playing days after retirement is OJ Simpson.

Thank you for all the kind remarks. It was alot of fun. rcade--We did sign and initial an 18-page document which contained a paragraph concerning confidentiality, along with statements saying the producers say was final and the like. As one of my friends said though, for $1 million, they will investigate to see if you violated any such agreement, for $5000 it would probably cost them more than the prize to hire an investigator and prove their case. The show was filmed at a television studio in New York, so the only ESPN personalities I encountered were Stuart Scott and the Schwab. Stewart Scott was very nice and personable, he came over and introduced himself to the contestants before every show. For legal reasons, we couldn't communicate with the Schwab because we were in competition with him, but he was very nice after the competition ended.

I am going to burn the video to DVD some time next week. If anyone is interested, I will burn four others (I only have 5 blank DVDs left) and send them out to the first 4 SpoFites who email me (address in profile) with their mailing addresses. Nothing needs to be sent to me, just drop a few dollars to the SportsFilter server funder (if that still exists) or to the charity rcade was promoting, Modest Needs.

I watched it again and need to correct some of the initial missing stars I included. Track--Carl Lewis Tennis--Andre Agassi Boxing--Joe Louis, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard NBA--Dr. J, West (2 w/iconic shots), K. Malone, Olajuwon, Ewing NFL--Marino, LT, Rice MLB--Clemens, Bonds, Griffey, Mays (was the 54 catch in there), Williams Carl Lewis appears for a split second. I believe there is photo of Joe Louis. Tyson is shown in handcuffs. As Ricardo said, the Dr. J behind the backboard shot is there. The Mays catch is also there and a photo of Williams and Joe D.

The use of his name alone in a way that does not indicate an endorsement of the product creates ambiguity. I agree that he has publicity rights, but I don't know how much protection is given to the use of his name alone in the way it is used in this advertisement.

I think the first comment (tokar) is probably the best part of the whole thing.

MLB may limit the license for the free game to only one provider. I read this in the SportsBusiness Journal (all stories are under subscriber protection) so I am not sure if the Yahoo-Sportsline debate will be moot.

AP Names Tiger Woods Athlete of the Decade
Can anyone find the winners and more interestingly, votes for the last 4 or 5 decades? I have found references to Arnold Palmer as the 60s winner and Gretzky in the 80s. I would very confidently assume Jordan in the 90s and with a far less degree of certainty offer Ali in the 70s.
The voting for this year broke down: Woods - 56, Armstrong - 33, Federer - 25, Phelps - 13, Brady - 6, Bolt -4, Manning - 1, Shaq - 1, Mannny Pacquaio - 1, Jimmie Johnson - 1, Pujols - 1.
