Happy, happy, and more happy!! Does anybody know where I can get one of those cool hats like Bettis was wearing? Not the champions one, but the one with the streaks (?) on it. Can't seem to find one, even at the Steelers official web site. Did I mention?...Happy, happy, & happy. Go Steelers!

Both of my sons, and all 4 of my brothers are veterans. Yes, I'm bragging about it!! Thanks and God Bless to you, Yankee, and all our veterans, today, and every day. Come home safe and soon.

Ooooh! Chico!!! I was still giggling over the "sun shines out of his ass" comment, and then you come up with the ten-cent head one. Priceless. BTW, I couldn't agree more. I hope T.O. will not go away mad, but just go away. Sorry I don't know how to do the highlight thing.

Dang!! There goes the best ( and best looking ) analyst on t.v. Of course I may be a little prejudiced. Trev is still remembered with a lot of luv at N.U.

volfire, FYI, gac is not a sound, it is the initials of someone very close to me, who is no longer with us. I use his initials to remind me to be tolerant of everyone and respect their views, if possible. The next time your cat pukes, I hope it's on you.

volfire, why don't you go find some of those more motivational/inspirational sports stories and post them? Leave this one for those of us who find a man trying to lose weight.....well...motivational/inspirational.

I know we're just supposed to ignore them in hopes that they will just go away, but... tanuki11, the feeling is mutual.

It's for their comfort..... Oh, please. How many articles of clothing have you worn that would qualify as wedgie picking whatever? Your entertainment, yes, their comfort.....I don't think so.

Oh jeez, mayerkyl. Where were you a few years ago when my Knight/Indiana lovin' friend was trying to shove his over-rated ass down my throat? That clip was indeed priceless. Thanks.

bballcoachreid, I agree with your written assessment of POOP although the name is really unusually apt. That said, was it really necessary to post those pictures? That kind of thing lowers you to his level.

How sad and sorry his life must be, to let that much bitterness ruin his legacy. He's an a-hole, yes, but a pathetic one.

$132.50 with 6 hours to go. For some soggy cereal and an old bowl. P.T. Barnum was right.

Wow! I mean really, wow! This is so incredible, the only reason I can believe it is I had first hand experience at a college game that was nearly this bad. I thought it was just a bad day. Guess not.

Brides Banned? Jeez I hope so. I just spent a few very unproductive minutes trying to figure out why that had anything to do with Yogi. All this and blonde too. Big duh.

Unless, of course, they are playing for the 'love of the game', which I believe is a valid thing for some of these guys. Brett Favre comes to mind.

Reliving near misses
1980-something. Maybe '82. Orange bowl. Huskers-Miami. Our T.O. (Tom Osborne) going for 2 to win the game and the National Championship outright, rather than the almost sure thing extra point, and sharing it with Miami. (No o.t. in those days.) Didn't make it. Was sad for years until we went back down there in '94 and won!
