Much as ignorance of the law is no excuse for committing a crime, ignorance of the rules of the game is no excuse for losing. I sense a hint of le dépit. And I gloat in their general direction.

Would Paris like some cheese with their whine? OK...that was too easy. owlhouse, unless it's thinly veiled under "hospitality", you've made no mention of free hookers. Free hookers = Diplomacy of the flesh. I don't claim to know the ins and outs (as it were) of Olympic Ass-kissing but I thought the entire charade is nothing more than a BrownNoseFest. Oh...and... WELFARE STATE ROCKS!!!!

Extra meetings? That's no way to influence IOC members. What happened to the free trips, hospitality, hotels, presents for the 'wife', scholarships for the kids, or just general out and out bribery? What's good enough for (deleted on legal advice) and (ditto) and even (ditto) in past years should have been enough to swing it.
