Rollie Fingers: Handlebar-Mustachioed Deadbeat?: Hall of Fame reliever Rollie Fingers named by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue as owing over $1.4 million in back income taxes, interest, penalties, fees, and assorted other costs. As it turns out, Fingers might be back in Wisconsin this summer (last paragraph).

In Wisconsin? Yeah there is. It stands just outside Miller Park, commemorating the Brewers' team salary. Oh, snap! Nice, BPP.

Has Rollie been hanging out with Wesley Snipes?

The Rangers have been paying A-Rods state tax since the trade, if I heard right. One reason Rollie lives in Nevada now, I bet.

"but my guess is it will be tying a woman to the railroad tracks while a player piano cranks out an ominous tune." Thank you BullpenPro for the chuckle. After seeing the headline I was on my way to post something similar thinking how original I was going to be. Oh well.

If you read the law books, income tax is not legal anyway.it was only supposed to be temporary.we just keep paying them because the IRS is the most powerful entity in the world, and nobody wants to fight them.

There are generally no statue of limitations... In Wisconsin? Yeah there is. It stands just outside Miller Park, commemorating the Brewers' team salary. "Any tips on the whereabouts of delinquent taxpayers are investigated." If you can't find Rollie Fingers, a Hall of Fame ballplayer who makes frequent public appearances and has his own blog, well I just can't help you. You've got problems that go far beyond getting shorted the one year salary of a backup catcher. "This was basically a shock to him," he said. I bet it was. So the first Rollie heard of this was when some blog reported seeing his name on a top 100 list from the state? This sounds like a flaw that starts with Fingers' accountants and ends with a pretty pathetic state revenue department. That Fingers is getting dragged through the mud on this is ridiculous. He may be destined to be linked to a crime, but my guess is it will be tying a woman to the railroad tracks while a player piano cranks out an ominous tune.
