Wonder if that rumor about why the Celtics traded away Ron Mercer and Chauncey Billups is pertinent info.

This is the sort of thing that I wish more of the internet was like: group collaboration on information collection and organization. It also makes me wonder whatever happened to the SpofiWiki...

Don't go check. I wrote a lot of bad stuff about you. It was collaborative though.

The question I have is do you think there is a cornerback on any team as bad as Ahmad Carroll? I haven't seen a reason why the Packers sould keep him on the roster.

Would that be Ahmad "2 Sweet" Carroll, PF for the expansion Abilene Packers? If not lets stick to the topic.

I never knew there was a position in basketball called cornerback. That is why I enjoy sportsfilter so much, I like to think I know a fair bit about sports, but someone is always opening my eyes to new information. That, and I get to find out what's new with Greg Maddux.

It's true. Spofi strives to be the Web's #1 source for new basketball positioning, creative Bonds-taunting, worldwide player-hating and Greg Maddux Crime Watch

a position in basketball called cornerback I imagine it's the position that I ended up playing when I was kid. "Stand in the corner, back there near the sidelines, and don't get in our way."

Did a couple of passes on the Kenyon Martin page myself. So far, I like it. But the moment my edits are deleted... ...well, lets just say Greg Maddux will be picking up the White Courtesy Phone.

Did a couple of passes on the Kenyon Martin page myself. So far, I like it. Looks nice, nemo. You may want to remove the stub part, though (if you can...I haven't delved too much into it yet. I leave tomorrow for vacation, else I'd spend all night doing the Mavs' roster). I used to live walking distance from KMart's old high school.

How do you add a player? I was aghast that Larry Joe Bird isn't listed as a player, only as a coach. I will be the dickhead edit Nazi, ensuring LJB's page simply reads: "GOD"

At the moment, fatty, I think they're striving just for current players. Once they get those down, presumably, they'll go back the 60 seasons (or 100, I mean, who would really know?) and do some historical entries. In other words, man up and edit Rajon Rondo's page.

Rajon Rondo: Point guard. Apparently can play D.

It started as a discussion about the difficulty of learning specific players agents, but quickly has grown in scope (but not size...yet) to include "previous coaches, teams, sponsors, and the like, all organized into sortable categories." They're also seeking volunteers to help fill out the site.
