That's my Dad. I'm blowing his cover because he promised he'd bring me home something nice from Saudi Arabia and THAT WAS FOURTEEN YEARS AGO (and the airline menu does NOT count, Dad). You suck Dad.

The first time I saw the picture I thought maybe someone had somehow "photoshopped" an adult into a little league uniform.

How many NBA scouts are lining up this kids door?

Are there any actual Saudi kids that play for the KSA Little League team? Or are the kids plucked from Aramco families?

Obviously it's time to add size limits to the age limits.

He walked TWICE? How could you miss the strike zone? also this kid could kick most of our asses, what I want to know is who tells him it's nap time?

No way this kid is 13! 6'8" for a Saudi Arabian! They would have made him play basketball. Not baseball. There is just no way.

He walked TWICE? How could you miss the strike zone? As a twelve-year old kid who stands 5'1" tall, would you want to throw a ball across the plate and take the chance that Captain Gigantic drives one right back through the box? It sounds like the kid is getting good advice (about not being able to control what other people think, and being nice enough to let people take photos with him). Good for him. 6'8" for a Saudi Arabian His family lives in Saudi Arabia, but it doesn't look like he's Middle-Eastern. It's like those American army brats that play for Guam because their family is stationed there.

Give him a bad beard and he'd look just like Big Papi.

Soooo on the off chance that the kid strikes out, does he snap the bat over his knee like they do with wooden bats?

As an ex-catcher I can't imagine covering that strike zone. I don't think there are many high school pitchers that should miss that strike zone. So tell me, how the hell does this kid get walked? With his reach he has to stand to the outside of the box and with his long arms plus bat is not going to get the velocity to nut shot the pitcher anyway. All you have is a first baseman with a tremendous reach and avg. .250 give or take at bat.

Birth cerificate please!

Yeah, because after the Danny Almonte scandal, I'm sure nobody in the Little League World Series front office thought to ask a 6'8" 13-year old for a birth certificate.

Holy Crap! What are they putting in the water in Saudi Arabia? I assume that after the Almonte fiasco, their ages have all been verified, but it's hard to believe this team has three players in the "man-child" category. I wonder if they have football and basketball programs available to them in Saudi as well.
