The first game was exciting (Cavs/Pistons), but that's because I'm a Pistons fan! I read an article by Scoop Jackson saying that LeBron is going through the same trials as Jordan did when he faced the Pistons back in the late 80s and early 90s. Scoop said that LeBron will become better because of the beating he and the Cavs are taking now. But even if he does, what about his team? Also, will LeBron remain with the Cavs next summer (likely, but what would his price tag be)?

Lebron will probably get a two to three year deal tied to the league minimum, indexed for inflation.

I know it's from the last round (and therefore slightly off topic), but this parody (which I saw linked to from Deadspin) is pretty funny.

I just cant wait til Lebron gets his Pippen.. Funny that the Pistons would be in Lebron's way the same way they were in Jordan's early career. Nash= OVER RATED If making your team better as a PG is the requirement for MVP then what happen to JKidd's MVP award when the NETS were horrible and he lead them to the finals 2 years in a row! Also, SA looks old. Parker got exposed by Harris. Unless Big Timmy does his thing MAJOR ... Dallas got a shot.. even tho they are the chokers!

LeBron will get a max contract... His own team van offer him more money than anyone else. It's the NBA salary cap.

Robb Dubbs, thx for bringing that up 'cause I know I forgot about J. Kidd taking the Nets to the Finals in back-to-back fashion! At least J. Kidd had some D with those shaky knees!

Isiah Thomas will at least comment on trying to get LeBron! Watch! He will be looking to trade his entire roster of talent (Frye, Crawford, Robinson, some other fourth guy with marginal talent and a huge contract) only to make the Knicks into the Cavs of Lebron's first 3 years!
