Now if only the Lions can get in the win column more often!

Advice for the players: Don't even look at the ref or even show disgust, not even with your own mistakes or you might get a tech! The refs are becoming all but exempt from their bad officiating at times!

A lot people just don't like change; that goes for NBA players, NFL, MLB and regular joes. If you complain enough about something or get enough people to complain about something that affects your job, then you too can get some things changed!

Cleveland will not win the division! They may win a few more games than they did this past season with Hughes being healthy, but not the division. I think that Detroit will win it again because they will get a better mix from Nazr M. than they did from Ben. Don't misunderstand me, Nazr is no Ben, but he shoots it better from the charity stripe and can score better.

Puffy (then) and the Bad Boy Family said it best..."All about the Benjamins baby!" Ben will be missed in Detroit, but I believe the Pistons needed a shot in the arm after the ECF! Hopefully this will be it and they will put it together next season and make another run for the LOT! (Praying: Can they please get KG or Bonzi somehow, someway...Joe D. make some magic again!)

I must say that although I am not a hockey fan, I grew up in Detroit and I've never really heard or saw any bad press about Stevie Y! I take my hat off to a professional athlete who has been a professional human being for his entire career. Professional Sports need more guys like Mr. Yzerman! (sobbing internally)

Is he really worh that? There are other big men who are healthy, or have not suffered from a season-ending injury on the market that would have cost less! He must have some talent that the NBA hasn't seen yet!

No no no no no! The worst pick was Darko over Carmelo, Bosh, Wade and anyone else in the top 10! When given a pick, especially that high, you take the best player available! The Knicks failed to do that by taking Rolando Balkman (Orlando Blakman in disguise and rejuvinated) over Williams! WTF?!

I've been saying KG all along, but the pistons would have to give up sheed and ben! But that would work because KG can replace both of them with his scoring and rebounding, he's a walking 20+12 guy every night! I agree that the "team" game has had its run and now it's time to recruit a slashing scorer with the ability to help defend.

I think it's time for Joe D. to recruit a scorer or a super star with talents like K.G. A player like K.G. can replace both Wallaces and will only lack in 3-point shooting. Is K.G. available? He can hook up with the Pistons and get that ring! He could add that scoring they need on the block and that 15-17 jumper with defense!

I am sure several of you have seen the animated movie The Incredibles. Well in it, the parents tell Dash (lightning fast speed) that he cannot compete! He tells his mom that she always tells him to be his best but that she does not really mean it cause he would pummel the competition!

Debo270: That's an exact antithesis to competition as this rule or regulation suggests! I don't think that on any level of competition that no one wants to be given "sympathy" plays or points or wins for that matter! We compete to win and the better we are than our competitors, the more they will work hard to make competitions thrive! How long did it take you to come up with that...brilliant!

grabofsky74 and Bill, you guys rock! Beer is King and Bobby Brown is the King of R&B, as his graceful queen stated a while ago! It takes great will and determination to accomplish something like that! Man, it's hard for me to run a mile, I could not imagine running more than 10 in a day, maybe even a week!

Warstda: I agree! I have seen too many grown-a$$ men who act like children because they were sheltered while gorwing up! In real-world sports, there are no such handicaps! The reason for playing sports is competition and that means there are people competing to win! Do we all go out to work and tell ourselves, "I am going to work to half of my ability today because I am making my co-workers look bad with my hard work, effort and abilities! Yes!!! I am glad that I can give a subpar effort!" No! Our bosses, coaches, wives or whomever wants the best out of us! So tell those kids to play hard and give it their best shot! If they win by 50 or more, then the message was well received! It happens in high school basketball all the time!

Tigers Win 3-1 in World Series Game 2
Besides better grip, what else can different types of gels or liquids do to enhance pitching the ball? I don't really know anything about pitching, so can someone help me out?
