Hidden: Mueller Time in Los Angeles : Dodgers begin reconstruction by signing Bill Mueller. The demolition ended yesterday with the trade of Milton Bradley. The Dodgers are also interested in Kenny Lofton, Reggie Sanders, Johnny Damon, J.T. Snow, Manny Ramirez, David Wells, and Trot Nixon. This comes as the Angels close in on Rich Aurilia. Also today, the Feds announced they will not let Cuba field a team in the World Baseball Classic, opening the doors for a new country to fill the hole.

Mondesire spends more than half his editorial trying to impress us with how much he knows about Black sports history and other current events he says are more important to him. Blah, blah blah. Since he's an editorialist I hope he knows more about all of that than he does about sports. First, people with hernias and other assorted injuries usually can't run well. Second, running quarterbacks make for exciting football but they put themselves and their teams at risk if they do it to much. Look at Michael Vick who was hurt Monday and there is discussion now that he may not be starting against the Bears. Mr. McNabb is trying to play the position the way it should be played. If Mondesire makes any more observations like this combined with the handicap slurs he threw in the paper will be known as "The Most Shallow Voice..."
