Mueller Time in Los Angeles

Mondesire spends more than half his editorial trying to impress us with how much he knows about Black sports history and other current events he says are more important to him. Blah, blah blah. Since he's an editorialist I hope he knows more about all of that than he does about sports. First, people with hernias and other assorted injuries usually can't run well. Second, running quarterbacks make for exciting football but they put themselves and their teams at risk if they do it to much. Look at Michael Vick who was hurt Monday and there is discussion now that he may not be starting against the Bears. Mr. McNabb is trying to play the position the way it should be played. If Mondesire makes any more observations like this combined with the handicap slurs he threw in the paper will be known as "The Most Shallow Voice..."

The Silencing of Carlos Delgado.

Rosa Parks chose the right time and place to protest. Consequently, she's an icon and she should be. The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook. Protesting what is essentially a prayer by the survivors of an attack on their city wouldn't show much discretion. Carlos should pick another venue to vent.
