Was there a doubt? None that I could see.

nort, don't you mean the forty-first ever running back to win the award?

I thought maybe he meant the fifth USC player, but I think Bush is now the 8th Trojan to win it. nort doesn't know wtf he's talking about. Why should he start now.

Bush became the 5th SC RB to win the award.

i heard on a local sports show here that bush was actually left completely off 1% of the ballots. not that he wasn't listed as #1, but that he wasn't even in the top 5. if you don't take your voting that seriously, why vote?

I'll wait till January 4th to answer you USC fans. Texas is going to suprise some people and time will tell. Reggie Bush did deserve the award for a truly outstanding season. This is the motivation Vincent Young needs .

yo mustang: i'm a ucla fan, and i still believe usc is going to lay the lumber to texas. sorry in advance. at least you still have UT basketball. oh, wait... :/

I'll see you back on the Sportsfilter on Jan4th and one of us will eat crow. UCLA fan still licking your wounds huh.

not at all. i had no delusions that ucla could beat usc. they were lucky not to go 5-7 this year. i'm just saying as someone who's seen every usc game this year that i think this usc era will be among the greatest dynasties in ncaafb history. it's not meant to be a knock on UT. it's just bad timing for them.

USC has had a great run and has shown class along the way. It's going to be a good game and the winner will be the true champion. I did my post grad work at A&M but Texas roots run pretty deep.

I cant believe Bush won by that large of a margin. Young DID have a hell of a year. I was happy to see Posluszny win the Butkis and Bednarik though.
