Ding-dong the witch is gone: After my three and a half year boycott of my favorite baseball team I can finally buy a new cap and take my wife to a game again.

Can this team ever get, like, 2-3 arms? Their offense is freaking dynamite. The Rangers should trade Mensch and Soriano this offseason in an attempt to get some pitching. I bet the offense still doesn't skip much of a beat. Yeah but who has too much pitching, and can afford to trade good pitching for bats? Right - no one. Tough one there.

Actually, the Blue Jays have quite a bit of young pitching and Mensch would be a pretty good fit. I'd love to get Soriano, but we're already flushed with second baseman ... although ... Rangers: Mensch and Soriano Blue Jays: Lilly, Hudson and Gustavo Chacin, plus a first-rounder. Sound doable?

I'd do it. Not sure if J.P. would. Lilly, Hudson and Spier/League would be better.

I'd love to see the Yankees get Soriano back and make him a centerfielder. Not as wierd as it sounds. It worked with such Yankee infielders as Mickey Mantle, Bobby Mercer and Tom Tresh. Unfortunately, they ain't got no pitchers to spare.

i don't know if i want soriano back. i would love to see jeter go to center (he's got the arm for it and he tracks fly balls well), move a-rod back to short and pick up a third baseman. but that will never happen.

What happened in the middle of Hart's first year with the Rangers that made you boycott the team? I've been a Rangers fan since the Brad Short days of my childhood. I would think that any fans who could have been driven off by management stupidity would have been gone long before Hart's reign of error.

Soriano would be a good fit with the Giants, we'd trade the Rangers some decent talent for him too.

Did you also boycott them when W was in charge?
