Frog Day Afternoon.: Opening weekend in college football and we already have our first major upset of the season with the unrated TCU Horned Frogs marching up to Norman and defeating the Sooners 17-10 while holding perennial Heisman Trophy candidate Adrian Peterson to 63 yards on 22 carries.

Perennial? Adrian Peterson is a sophomore this year.

I think the only major upset this year is that USC "beat up on" Hawaii and is being talked like they are on their way to winning a third National Championship. They had better win the National Championship, they dont play anybody. Its like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.

SJT, as a USC alum I'll take that bet--people said they same thing the last two seasons and we still won the one game that matters. Heck, we won the AP poll the year before that but got shutout from the BCS title game so from the perspective that the journalists' voting is slightly less subjective we're going for a fourth title this season.

Feh. Notre Dame looked pretty good. All that stands in their way of a decent season is #4 Michigan next week and a BCS Bowl Game against USC for the title.

Michigan would have been hip deep if NIU hadn't fumbled 4 times. Notre Dame - Michigan next week will be a big test for both schools. I still think Serena Williams has a big ---. But thats another story.

I watched most of the game and I have to say that Oklahoma looked pitiful. No offense to TCU, but there is no reason why Oklahoma should lose to TCU. Oklahoma has all the pieces to be a BCS contender and they looked like they had never seen a football before. Stoops and his players should be embarrased. My hat off to TCU for a wonderful game.
