What else would you expect from laid-back hippie Communists? I know it's not too close to the Dakotas, but Cincinnati is so commie they have a team called the Reds.

i believe in second chances but this slimeball deserves to be banished from the coaching ranks. bliss didn't cause the one guy to murder the other guy, but if he would have had control of his program or more closely paid attention to the type of student-athlete he brought into his program maybe this would have never happened. lying about failed drug tests and trying to cover up his own mistakes by convincing other people to lie is downright shady.

Eh, the whole midwest could use a Stalinist Purge. And Bliss would be a perfect apologist.

Can we PLEASE stop with the mid-west hippie communists?

I've been a good soldier and I've helped a lot of young people." Baylor found that Bliss improperly paid up to $40,000 in tuition for Dennehy and another player, and that the coaching staff had not reported players' failed drug tests. Bliss also asked players and an assistant coach to lie to investigators by saying Dennehy paid his tuition by dealing drugs Sounds like a great soldier to me. What is going to happen the next time one of his good players can't afford to pay for school, and doesn't have a scholarship? Lets just hope he doesn't do any more f***ed up stuff and just coaches.

Only bad thing Bliss has done wrong,... is the information he failed to provide to authorities.....giving money to players? WOW nobody in the history of coaching has done that.

He lied about about murder. Tried to make the victiom take the rap for his own murder

Bliss is a piece of shit, unworthy of even volunteering to coach his own son's high school team. The fact that the man is earning a paycheck to coach basketball, regardless of league or stature, nauseates me. Plus, he fucked Baylor men's basketball over for a very, very long time. Thank God for Kim Mulkey-Robertson.

Thanks for reminding me of that, Ufez. The guy tried to save his own ass by telling players and coaches to lie and say that the murdered player was a drug dealer. He is of such demonstrably low character that I'm amazed anyone, even in a minor league like the CBA, would want to be associated with him. If the Wizards were seeking a good coach who might attract a little attention to the team, they should have hired Abar Rouse, the honest assistant who blew the whistle on Bliss and has been blacklisted as a result.

Doesn't say much for the integrity of the organizaton, does it? I hear the team needs a new bus driver, and Bob Huggins needs a job. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Everyone deserves forgiveness. It doesn't mean they get a job influenicing others. The man should be in jail for hindering a police inverstigation.

This guy is first-class asshole - but he will try to protect the organization - which can be appealing to some. "Why you remind me of a young bootlick named Wayland Smithers."

I hope the parents of the players keep a very watchful eye over their kids. We don't want to see another Bliss-Kiss(of Death)!
