Just imagine you've got guys with cameras following you around practically 24-7. You're going to look stupid a whole bunch too.

didn't he play in college? i seem to remember stories about his big athletic achievement was scoring a hat trick or something.

I believe he played both soccer and lacrosse in college (the information was in a ESPN Page 2 article that I can't locate right now... probably a premium).

Something I learned while photographing a lot of soccer games this year: maybe one person in a thousand doesn't look like a total dork after they've just headed a soccer ball (or even just before). Tip for all you proud soccer parents: get 'em from the side so you can't see their eyes, which generally end up crossed (or something equally unattractive). The best you ever get is closed.

Yeah, it's pretty impossible to keep an eye on the ball and not cross your eyes. If you're watching it the entire way until you make contact with it, you'll end up cross-eyed. When I was little, my sister taught me how to cross my eyes by starting from far away and then slowly going in to touch my nose with a Chee-to. Ah, childhood.

I think Edwards coached soccer or something. So, for the good of all soccer fans, I hope Kerry-Edwards win. The first US soccer presidential team. Whooo.

is it fair to say that I knew, since it was provided by SF, that the link above would involve some sort of crotchal harm?

How is that fair?

Fair.

Let's just say that Ronaldo was all over the term crotchal harm in today's RM-DK CL match. And Owens "opened his scoring account" with the winner.

Yeah i saw that...meanwhile, Liverpool drew 0-0 and i heard Kewell had a good game coming on in the second half.

The world is ending soon, StarFucker said something mildly positive about Harry Kewell!
posted by billsaysthis at 07:45 PM on October 19, 2004
You have me confused...i always speak highly of Kewell. I have his Liverpool jersey for god's sake!

don't go that far. he is only saying he heard something rather than expressing an opinion of his own. though reporting something positive is certainly mildly worldy endy.

Just in case that link doesn't work, try this.
