I just now got around to reading rcade's post about the life of an NBA beat writer these days. Excellent read and James Edwards (son of Pistons legend James Edwards) is a great writer for the Athletic.

The LA Clippers are rolling out a new logo and uniform design. Thank goodness.
The current blocky "LA inside a big C" logo looks like it was done on an Etch A Sketch.
It could be a maze for lab rats. Ballmer mediocrity.
However, the new logo kind of looks like a cruise ship full of cholera and norovirus cases headed straight for an innocent, unsuspecting dockside promenade.

ESPN wrote a magnum opus on that Clippers redesign. A lot of it looks good but I sideeye the excitement over the new L with the A sitting in its lap.

I think the new logo is just an Adobe Illustrator rendition of the front of Ballmer's massive yacht.
