I've often wondered how NoMich handles the anguish when his two favorite NFL teams face each other.

Whatever level of torment he experienced during today's game, back in the Caped Crusader's heyday, things were even rougher.

LOL.

Well, this season is easy. The Lions have a team that can do something big, but the Panthers are not going anywhere but up the draft order. It was easy to root on the Lions today, but I was looking to see any growth from Bryce Young. He certainly had some nice moments today and that's good enough. I think Panthers fans got spoiled by a Cam Newton that was able to run onto an NFL field and perform magic right from the start of his career.

And Detroit officially handed off its Motor City Kitties name to the Panthers today. For the forseeable future, the Carolina Panthers will be known as the Queen City Kitties. Though, I think it's safe for them to sing that old country classic, Pick Me Up On Your Way Down, to the Lions.

You're a somebody now, residents of New Hampshire! The beard went to your lovely state and took on a 5 lb poutine eating challenge. I really hope that all of our New England spofites were in the restaurant at the time.

Why do the Dallas Cowboys team doctors always dress like the detective next to Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot?

I really regret not having seen this earlier. Poutine is a part of life here in the Granite State where fully 1/3 of the surnames in the 'phone book (when there was one) were Francophonic. I am proud to announce that New Hampshire PuotineFest 2023 is scheduled to be held this coming Saturday, October 14, at the Anheuser Busch Brewery in Merrimack, NH. We are poutine fans in our household, and if the weather is decent, we will make the 15 minute drive to enjoy it. See you there?
