Get your star player back. Win an exciting overtime game against a division leading rival. Get fired. Dan Reeves out as Falcons coach. Does the timing of this strike anyone else as odd? Maybe some straw just broke the Camel's back after a long year of losing, or is the owner being, shall we say, indiscreet in talking about new coaches?
Also seemed inevitable when he questioned whether or not Vick was sandbagging his recovery...

oof. that newspaper thing pre-congratulating him for his 200th victory is now extra sucky and funny. Funny bad.

You know this means Deion will be campaigning for the job on Fox's pre-game show the rest of the year!

The timing was directed by Reeves, who didn't want to coach the rest of the season after being told it would be his last with the team. I'm not surprised that he's been let go; it seemed inevitable when they couldn't buy a win without Vick playing.
