After today's WC Final, anything that anyone could possibly want to see from the NFL happened yesterday.

Might be a couple of Jags fans around here that beg to differ.

Hell of a final though.

After I posted, I figured something remarkable would probably happen during this afternoon's games.

Well, that was a game and a half.

Literally.

Fantastic day in sports yesterday:

  • Argentina won an incredibly exciting game to win the World Cup, but also had to have felt a sense of relief after blowing a two goal lead and then a late one goal lead.

  • Kylian Mbappe made himself known to even soccer neophytes like me. That dude is incredible and he's only 23 years old. Welcome to the big stage, young man, and may you dazzle us for another 15 years.

  • The ending of that Patriots/Raiders game.

  • That cricket-like tag team interception by the Titans.

The Jags/Cowboys game was also pretty amazing. Started one minute after the World Cup ended.
