The new logo is nice, but Howard and I have our attention directed elsewhere.
We'll be in Worcester attending a music performance by rap legend Antonio Brown.
If we're lucky, he'll perform his big hit "Moving Day" with the classic refrain "The fuck outta here".

Enjoying the mental picture of Howard and the Beav rocking out at a hip-hop show. In my mind, you fellas look like Don Ameche and Jack Lemmon, but with sagged jeans, oversized Celtics jerseys and Pats snap backs turned sideways.

I'm fighting Father Time as best I can, dressing like a high school boy and the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania.
I stay in shorts until around Thanksgiving. Or until women my age start looking at me with a pained expression.
With woolen socks and flannel boxers, a person can go far. And I know damn well I'm more comfortable than King Charles au naturel in a kilt at Balmoral. Put all the highland sweaters you want on him, there's still gonna be a draft.
In my mind, I see Howard in his day of worship vestments and regalia. Which is quite a distinguished vision. Other than that, I figure he's in his plate umpire ninja turtle getup.

I envision Howard as the last of the "where a suit everywhere, no matter the occasion." Since I think he's an engineer type of guy, he's got one suit, brown of course. Funerals, baptisms, weddings, retirement parties, Celtics games, restaurant outings, picnics, parades, everything.

My wife and I are right now "chillin'" in Falmouth, MA, on The Cape (Cape Cod for you non-New Englanders) The new logo looks nice, but this addition to the paint area is better. Russell owned the paint during his time, so putting his number there is fitting. On the subject of NBA greats, the Lakers have finally seen fit to retire George Mikan's number. He was the dominant big man for his time in the 1940s to mid-1950s. He retired in 1956, the same year Russell entered the league, and some said that after Mikan played against Russell, his retirement was inevitable.
Rap isn't exactly my favored musical genre, but if the Beav is game, so am I. I haven't rocked out for a while. The last time was at a Moody Blues performance in Manchester, NH, when my wife and I got up from our seats (we were on the floor portion of the arena) and started dancing up a storm. Lots of fun, but it might be a good idea to bring qualified EMT help if I ever do this again.
For the first few years of his employment, yours truly did indeed wear a jacket and tie. The tie had to be a clip-on. Most of the equipment I worked on had high-speed cooling fans, and if your tie encountered them, you had a good chance of choking. When I went to work with the Marine Corps in Japan, I ditched the suit and went to jeans and a shirt. Crawling around airplanes or working in a maintenance van tends to mess up clothing rather badly. Only the management types ever wore suits, and they learned to ditch them whenever there was actual work getting done.

Life changing news for Howard: The Gahden is getting a new Celtics logo in center court.
