The video of the end of that fight is disturbing. He becomes so confused he begins throwing punches at the air.
It has been a long time since I enjoyed boxing or any other similar sport. It's a bit hard to believe I ever did, but sportswriters elevated it into something glorious in the 1970s and I bought in.

In a noteworthy development the NFL has named "official wines". One would think it might be the vintages of former QB Drew Bledsoe's Doubleback Winery, but it is not. Some of you might remember the TV comedy/game show "Hollywood Squares" which featured as one of its regulars Cliff Arquette in his character of Charley Weaver. In one episode, Charley was asked, "What two brothers enabled mankind to fly?" His answer, "Ernest and Julio Gallo", and that is now the official wine brand of the NFL.

Howard, we're carbon dating ourselves with the Hollywood Squares.
Charley Weaver, lower left if I recall. My mother loved that show.
Personally, I enjoy a bit of Gallo's humor now and then.
If they name a vintage after Goodell it'll be called Pinot Egregio.

Remind me to tell you sometime about my pet dinosaur.
What will be the penalty for wine-ing to the officials?
This will give the NFL a chance to appoint a new commissioner: Ron Burgundy. Can't be any worse.

I'm quite confident that you guys are a good bit older than me, but I remember watching Hollywood Squares as a kid. Now were there new episodes or reruns in the late 80s/90s? Do I know who Charley Weaver is? I have no idea. But the point is I have seen the show! I also enjoy your anecdotal posts even when I have no idea what you're talking about.

Do the foolhardy, witless Browns deserve an opportunity to void Deshaun Watson's contract on a personal conduct basis?
If they go further and discover that the Texans knew a lot about Watson's conduct before trading him*, do the Browns deserve the chance to void the trade and recover their draft capital?
*Assuming that the Browns are astute enough to make the discovery, which is assuming a lot.
