Elgin Baylor has passed away at age 86. To me, and more than a few old-time NBA commentators, he was Michael Jordan before Michael; Dr. J when he was still Julius; and dare I say he was Lebron before Lebron. He is one of the few of his era (1960s) who would be a standout in today's NBA. Some of the Celtics vs Lakers playoff wars in those years were the stuff of legend. Sadly for Baylor, he never won a championship.

Amen Howard. And the spacing and flow of those games was fluid grace without the three point line.

rcade is this the right North Texas?
It is, and I should've done some boasting before they played Villanova!
A nice thing about their improbable CUSA championship and first-ever first-round win is that UNT would've been in the dance last season too.
